Lantern Art Designer Named in Nationl Vocation Skill Standard
Recently, the compilation of the national vocational skill standard for "Lantern Art Designer", led by the Lantern College of Sichuan Light Chemical University and participated by Zigong Lantern Color Group, passed the expert review of China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center and was included for the first time in the Occupational Classification of the People's Republic of China (2022 Edition) issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Category 4, Category 8, Subcategory 8 -- Specialized design service personnel.
This marks the gradual normalization, institutionalization and systematization of the construction of colored lantern art talent team and professional development, which lays a foundation for the formation and development of the new model of "industry + education + research and development + service" of Zigong Colored Lantern, the implementation of the strategy of "Cultural tourism thriving City" of Zigong and the construction of Zigong into a unique world cultural tourism city.
Founded in 2018, the College of Lanterns of Sichuan University of Light Chemical Technology is the only college named after lanterns in China. It offers 3 majors of lantern production, design and management, and 11 courses of lantern research, including "Exploring the secret and ingenuity", focusing on the training of lantern talents. At present, more than 70% of the professionals in Zigong's lantern art industry are from the Lantern College.
Zigong Lantern industry occupies 80% of the national market share and 90% of the international market share, and has become one of the business cards of China's foreign cultural trade. At present, Zigong "Lantern Craftsman" has become one of the first 20 "Sichuan brand" characteristic labor service brands in the province.
